Metallic macrocycles built-up from ferrocenedicarboxylate and ancillary nitrogen heterocycles: Hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structures and electrochemical properties

Four novel metal-organic macrocyclic compounds based on 1,1′-ferrocenedicarboxylate anion have been obtained by hydrothermal synthesis and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Their electrochemical properties were also evaluated by solution-state differential pulse voltammetry.
