Abstract
Three new pincer compounds containing a central pyrrole linked to two N-imidazole, N-pyrazole or N-1,2,4-triazole heterocyles have been prepared. The imidazole and 1,2,4-triazole derivatives can be N-alkylated to produce cationic pincers and the pyrazole and 1,2,4-triazole pincers coordinate to palladium.
