Abstract
The new (100 K) X-ray crystal structure of Yb[N(SiMe3)2]2[Me2PCH2CH2PMe2] strengthens the original deductions, based on a 293 K data set, that the short Ybâ¯Cγ contact distance is best described as a Ybâ¯SiβCγ agostic interaction rather than as a Ybâ¯HCγ agostic interaction.130
