Abstract
One novel Ag(I) complex based on the T-shaped tripodal ligands 2-(pyridin-4-yl)-1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylaic acid (H3PIDC) have been synthesized under hydrothermal condition. Complex 1 crystallizes in the noncentric space group (Cc). The experimental result clearly shows that complex 1 displays second harmonic generation (SHG) effects and ferroelectric behavior.
