Abstract
Mn3(μ3-O)(μ-O2CCH2-1-naph)6(py)3 and [Mn3(μ3-O)(μ-O2CCH2-2-naph)6(py)3] were synthesized. The fluorescence intensities of these Mn complexes were smaller than those of naphthylacetic acids and depending on the dielectric constant of solvent, suggesting that there is an electron transfer between manganese centers and naphthyl moieties.
