Abstract
The partly substituted spiro-ansa-spiro (sas) and spiro-bino-spiro (sbs) phosphazenes with pyrrolidine, piperidine, morpholine and DASD gave fully substituted phosphazenes. All the compounds were characterized by spectroscopic and crystallographic techniques. The sas compounds had stereogenic phosphorus and nitrogen atoms. One of the phosphazenes displayed good antifungal activity against Candida tropicalis, and two of them induced conformational changes on the DNA helix.
