Abstract
The structure of [M(MOX)(HIm)Cl]·nH2O complexes; where M = Co, Ni or Mn and MOX = Moxifloxacin; HIm = imidazole. The structure was deduced using IR, UV-Vis. spectra together with thermal analyses studies. The coordination sites between the metals and the mixed ligands, MOX and HIm, were determined using IR together with 1H NMR spectra. The spectra showed that the metal ions are coordinated to the ligands through the carboxylate oxygen and keto group of MOX and through the N-atom of HIm.
