Abstract
The acid dissociation of the proton on the Rh(III) coordinated alcoholoic O is accompanied by elimination of a chloride ion from the metal coordination sphere. The relevant pKa value in acetonitrile has been determined from the molar conductance of the complex as 8.98 (±0.27).
