Abstract
The addition of Al2O3 evidently stabilizes the anatase phase and inhibits crystal transformation of TiO2 from the anatase to the rutile structure. Al atoms are incorporated into the lattice of TiO2. And the formation of the Al-O-Ti chemical bridges is favorable for stabilizing anatase structure.
