Abstract
⺠Photolytic CO release from [Mn(CO)3] complexes was studied by UV-Vis, IR and EPR. ⺠IR indicates that CO loss occurs stepwise via intermediate dicarbonyl complexes. ⺠The process is accompanied by Mn oxidation as clearly detected by EPR.
