Abstract
⺠Li and K amidopyridines as ligand transfer reagents. ⺠Li complex is a dimer in the solid state. ⺠Uranium(IV) tris(amidopyridine) halides prepared from transfer reagents. ⺠Reduction of uranium complexes gave homoleptic uranium(IV) tetraligand complex. ⺠Tetraligand uranium complex exhibits fluxionality in solution.
