Abstract
⺠Different polypyridines are examined as linkers for trinuclear pivalates. ⺠Replacement of 4,4â²-bipyridine by dipyridylethylene in porous coordination polymer. ⺠“Expansion” of pores makes crystal lattice more flexible. ⺠Sorption capacity strongly depends on adsorbate type. ⺠Magnetic properties simulated considering zero-field splitting of cobalt(II).
