Abstract
Multilayers coatings made of ceramic oxides nanoparticles and α,Ï-functionalized perfluoropolyethers (PFPE) have hydrophobic properties and enhanced resistance against liquid erosion compared to simple PFPE coatings; they can be applied for fouling mitigation on metal surfaces.
