Abstract
Suzuki polycondensation for the first time has been successfully utilized to prepare an aldehyde-functionalized PFCB aryl ether polymer precursor. Post-polymerization modification via Knoevenagel condensation of this polymer precursor with three different electron acceptors afforded three full electro-optic chromophore-functionalized PFCB aryl ether polymers.
