Abstract
Quadrupolar charge-transfer compounds with tetrafluorobenzene central acceptor and two peripheral donors separated by systematically enlarged Ï-linker were designed, synthesized and further studied by X-ray analysis, electrochemistry, absorption/emission spectra and calculations. Structure-property relationships were elucidated.
