Abstract
Perfluoroalkylethyl thiol derivatives lead to original catanionic hybrid surfactants. They exhibited very low surface tension and low CMC. It is shown that the substitution of a hydrogen by a chlorine atom did not influence the micellar aggregation and offers the possibility to synthesize chiral derivatives.
