Abstract
Iron(II) complexes can substitute platinum metals as well as iron(0) carbonyls for the isomerization of γ-trifluoromethylated allylic alcohols into β-trifluoromethylated ketones. A series of trifluoromethylated dihydrochalcones variously decorated on each aromatic ring were synthesized.
