Abstract
Complex 2 induces DNA damage and apoptosis, inhibits cell proliferation, colony formation, adhesion, invasion and migration of MDA-MB-231 triple negative breast tumor cancer (TNBC) cells. In addition, complex 2 induces intense morphological changes and arrests cell cycle at sub-G1 phase in TNBC cells, with low toxicity and genotoxicity in vivo.138
