Abstract
Antimicrobial and anticancer activity of new silver(I) pyridine-2-sulfonate (AgPS) was performed in comparison with silver sulfadiazine. The binding of new complex and silver sulfadiazine to calf thymus DNA was investigated using electronic absorption, fluorescence and CD spectrophotometry. Topoisomerase I enzymatic activity was examined by electrophoresis.299
