Abstract
Citric acid belongs to an essential compound which plays important role in biological systems. The overall stability constants of the monomeric and dimeric type of complexes of the citric acid with d- and f-electron metal ions were determined. Effectiveness of carboxyl groups in the process of complex formation was specified.90
