Abstract
Study on relationships between structure and activity for copper compounds revealed significant differences between copper(I) and copper(II) complexes with phosphine derivatives of fluoroquinolones. Mode of action of the copper(I) compounds is determined by both DNA interactions and reactive oxygen species generation.151
