Abstract
Ru(II)(η6-toluene) complexes of 2-picolinic acid and its four derivatives were synthesized and characterized including X-ray structure analysis. Stoichiometry, stability and chloride affinity of the complexes were determined in aqueous solution. Their cytotoxicity and antiproliferative effects were evaluated in sensitive and resistant human cancer cell lines.250
