Abstract
Full expression of Al-resistance in the Al-hyperresistant grass species Urochloa decumbens is characterized by enhanced abundance of both adenylate kinase and gammaâcarbonic anhydrase mediating mitochondrial complex-I assembly. These proteomic changes indicate higher root respiration and better provision of ADP and Mg2Â + to ATP synthase, respectively.110
