Abstract
Replacing the ammine ligands on the cytotoxic monofunctional platinum complex pyriplatin, with a bidentate ethane-1,2-diamine ligand drastically reduces the potency. We have found that this structural change significantly affects the cellular uptake profile, and we have further investigated these differences by applying size exclusion chromatography inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (SEC-ICP-MS).112
