Abstract
The solvent-exposed domain of the small subunit of nitric oxide reductase and its physiological electron donor, cytochrome c552, both harboring a c-type heme, were heterologously produced. These proteins were spectroscopically characterized and its interaction studied by NMR and electrochemical methods.81
