Abstract
The antibacterial activity of metal ions-containing aqueous solution was higher than single metal ion-containing aqueous solution. The possible synergistic antibacterial mechanism was that the metal ions in aqueous solutions could produce reactive oxygen species or combine protein sulfhydryl group on bacterial membrane, then disrupted bacterial membranes and killed the bacteria.234
