Abstract
Selected molybdenum compounds with the core [Mo2O2S2]2Â + were prepared and subjected to cytotoxicity studies in vitro. The compounds were ranked according to their cytotoxicity and composition. Strong correlation was observed between low toxicity and biocompatible combination of ligands and cations. The compounds showed very low cytotoxicity.115
