Abstract
The biophysical evaluation of the interaction of new anthracene-containing terpyridine ligands and Cu(II) and Pt(II) complexes with different DNA topologies showed that the combination of a terpyridine scaffold with a classical DNA intercalator is a promising approach to obtain metal(II) complexes with good affinity and selectivity for G-quadruplex DNA binding.124
