Abstract
Osmocene monophenolic (1) and tamoxifen like (2) complexes enter Jurkat cells and are probably transformed in their corresponding quinone methide cation (QM+). In particular, complex 2 strongly inhibits thioredoxin reductases, enhances oxidation of thioredoxins and peroxiredoxins, inducing reactive oxygen species production and decrease of mitochondrial membrane potential138
