Abstract
DFT modeling of newly synthesized polymeric Ag(I) complexes of hydroxy-nitro-coumarin ligands (dimeric Ag2(7OH-6NO2-C)2 unit) characterized by their experimental and calculated spectroscopic properties in solid and solutions phase. The anticancer activity of the Ag(I) complexes against cancerous cell lines was greater than the clinically used agent mitoxantrome.122
