Abstract
Cisplatin is a potent anticancer drug, yet its efficacy is limited by resistance. Hybrid QM/MM and metadynamics simulations combined with experiments provided insights on the structure and recognition processes of the drug with its cellular targets. These studies might contribute to design new cisplatin derivatives able to circumvent resistance.250
