Abstract
The ability of (â)-cytisine to bind metal ions copper and zinc as a tool in neurological researches has been shown. The first crystal structures in which cytisine coordinates to the metal through oxygen atom of the amide group are presented. The synthesized new complexes are characterized by crystallographic and spectroscopic methods.124
