Abstract
► We examine the anti-proliferative activity of seven triazolopyrimidine Ni(II) complexes. ► The in vitro growth rate of Leishmania spp. was reduced. ► Its capacity to infect cells was negatively affected. ► The multiplication of the amastigotes was decreased. ► Potential action mechanisms are at the level of the membranes of the organelles.
