Abstract

âº Cd(II) coordination to the non-classical zinc finger protein Tristetraprolin (TTP-2D). âº Cd(II)-TTP-2D binds AU-rich RNA molecules. âº Cd(II)-TTP-2D binds AU-rich RNA molecules with greater selectivity than native Zn(II)-TTP-2D.
