Abstract
Triruthenium carbonyl incorporating 4-pyridones Ru3(CO)8(2L-2H) (Lâ=â4-pyridones) were synthesized and characterized. Crystal structures for compounds 1 and 3 were determined. Anticancer activity of compounds 1 and 2 are between 1-2 orders of magnitude is more potent than cisplatin against five types of human cancer cell lines.127
