Abstract
Phthalimido-functionalized N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) palladium (II) complex has been studied with the use of modern vibrational spectroscopy and DFT calculations. The NHC as strong Ï-donor is enhanced the PdCl bond and simultaneously weekend the coordination of the weak Ï-donor acetonitrile and in this way two easy releasing ligands are provided.60
