Abstract
Two stilbene based iminopyridine ligands (L1-L2) have been prepared with 73% and 65% yield, respectively. The two ligands L1 act as monotopic ligand via the iminopyridyl fragment with zinc chloride. In the case of copper(I), ligand L1 act as ditopic ligand by the participation of both the iminopyridyl and the olefin fragments in coordination.126
