Abstract
Six new solution-processable platinum(II) acetylide donor-acceptor (D-A) triads end-capped y 4,7-di-2-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (DTBT) were synthesized and characterized by photophysical and electrochemical methods. These compounds were also used as active layers in the fabrication of organic solar cells.125
