Abstract
Tetrahedral molybdenum-iridium cluster afford mono-substitution products in fair to good yields and react with alkynes by insertion into M-M bonds. Open-aperture Z-scan studies revealed that these clusters are optical limiters at wavelengths in the visible region.190
