Abstract
The first organotellurium-containing polyoxometalates (POMs) have been synthesized and structurally characterized in the solid-state by single crystal XRD, IR, TGA, elemental analysis, and multinuclear solid-state NMR (1H, 13C, 125Te). The sandwich-type cyclobutyltellurium(IV)-containing heteropolyanions [(C4H8TeIV)3(XIIIW9O33)2]12â (XÂ =Â As, 1; Sb, 2) are isostructural, with three cyclobutyltellurium(IV) units being sandwiched between two lone pair-containing POM fragments.175
