Abstract
The boundary-layer similarity flow driven over a semi-infinite flat plate by a power-law shear with asymptotic velocity profile ue(y)=βyα(yââ,β>0) is considered. Theoretical analysis is reported to derive a range of exponents α and amplitudes β for which similarity solutions exist. The shear stress fâ³(0) parameter is determined as a function of α and β.
