Abstract
The term 'pharmacological promiscuity' describes the activity of a single compound against multiple targets. Design of multitarget ligands present an important opportunity for production of antibacterial agents. Multi-targeted treatments preclude rapid drug resistance against the infectious diseases and inflammation.
