Abstract
The synthesis, structures, spectroelectrochemical behaviour as well as bonding of carbonyl-containing triple-decker complexes is described. IR-spectroscopical and computational data suggest that anion [CpCo(C3B2Me5)]â is stronger donor than Cpâ but weaker than Cp*â.
