Abstract
A simple strategy for the synthesis of metal-free and metallophthalocyanines containing four 21-membered oxatetrathiadiaza macrocycles is described. The aggregation behaviours of these phthalocyanines were investigated at different concentrations in dimethylformamide. Solvent and concentration effects on the aggregation properties of the phthalocyanines were determined.
