Abstract
One 3D manganese(II) and one 3-fold interpenetrated 2D copper(II) pillar-layered magnetic frameworks (1 and 2) have been successfully synthesized from mixed carboxylate ligands. Magnetic studies reveal the presence of antiferromagnetic ordering at low temperature in 1 and strong antiferromagnetic interaction in 2.209
