Abstract
MnO/C nanosheet composites can be prepared by heating NaCl@Mn(Oleate)2 particles at 600 °C with a heating rate of 10 °C min−1 under Ar atmosphere for 3 h, and MnO nanocubes with a mean size of 34 nm are embedded uniformly and self-assembled on the surface of carbon nanosheets. MnO/C nanosheet composite electrodes display a high reversible capacity of 783 mAh g−1 in the second cycle at a current density of 0.1 A g−1, good cycling stability with a capacity retention of 71.7% and rate performance as lithium ion battery anodes.244
