Abstract
Fig. Secondary electron images of non-treated and treated Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2. The effect of (NH4)2SO4 treatment on the electrochemical performance of Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2 was investigated. The treatment roughed the cathode surface due to the extraction of lithium and oxygen. The extraction of lithium and oxygen was effective in reducing irreversible capacity in the first cycle for the cathode.178
