Abstract
Two 2D coordination polymers were synthesized by transition-metal/in-situ oxidation of 2-mercaptonicotinic acid. The compounds pack into 2D frameworks by the carboxyl groups of 2,2â²-dithiobisnicotinic dianion and exhibit overall weak antiferromagnetic coupling. 169
