Abstract
313Left: Crystal structure of Pr1.33Pt4Ga10 showing Pr and Ga vacancies in the Pr2Ga3 plane. Right: Tunneling electron microscopy (TEM) image of Pr1.33Pt4Ga10. These vacancies have been studied using TEM and pair distribution function analysis. Magnetic measurements reveal that Pr3+ ions order ferrimagnetically below 7.8(2) K.
