Abstract
The compounds La2NiGe3 and Ce2NiGe3 crystallize in the Er2RhSi3 type. Magnetic susceptibility show antiferromagnetic ordering for Ce2NiGe3 at 3.2Â K and neutron diffraction confirms the absence of long range ordering.
